Tupac „2Pac“ Shakur pled guilty last week to a weapons charge dating back to 1994, according to Reuters. As part of the plea, the rapper, whose most recent album is All Eyez On Me , agreed to perform a benefit concert and do community service in the weeks prior to his sentencing. The charges could get Shakur up to 16 months in prison when he is sentenced September 12.
Shakur, who is currently out on bail, has had a number of brushes with the law in the last couple of years. An appeal of a sexual assault case in New York is pending, and he was recently accused of a probation violation in Los Angeles.
