MTV NEWS: It seems that not even a hail of bullets can slow the career of the late Tupac Shakur. He’s getting his best reviews as an actor for his performance in the new movie „Gridlock’d.“ And the soundtrack from the film, on which Tupac also appears, along with his pal Snoop Dogg, debuts at number one on Monday’s new „Billboard“ chart. Even in death, the man is cleaning up, or so you might think. His mother, former Black Panther Afeni Shakur, certainly thought so, until she started looking for her son’s actual assets. Here’s what she said on ABC’s „Prime Time Live“ on Wednesday.
AFENI SHAKUR: I discovered he had next to zero, next to nothing. I discovered that the home that he had thought that he had just bought, was not his. I discovered that the Rolls Royce that he was so proud of and that he loved so much, was not his. And since they were not his, I don’t want any parts of them.
